The Hanksville Town Council meeting convened its regular session on the 6TH day of April, 2023 in the Hanksville Community Center; meeting commenced at 6:00 p.m.

The main water line that had to be moved due to the UDOT project at the Bull Creek bridge crossing High way 24 is now complete and the town is waiting for the contractor to finish their portion and then Eric will take water samples.
The water is back on at the park for sprinkling and there were repairs to the park well to keep it operating.
Mayor Jeffren Pei:
There is a need for a survey of property that involves Hanksville Town, Doug and Mona Wells and Stoney Jackson properties, where they all come together. The mayor would like to get clear where the easements are and where the property lines are and if they can be traded to benefit all parties. The mayor will draw the areas he would like clarified and see if a swap for a road can be made with the property owners.
Mayor assigned Anthony Jones to take all the used tires at the park out to the gun range. The mayor would like to get the property of the park and the gun range in the town’s name.

Tenants of Apt #2 have not paid rent since November 2022 and owe $1700 in back rent. Mayor directed clerk to send an eviction notice to Tyson Hunt and Marina Pei for failure to pay rent.
Council agreed to use Transient Room Tax money to upgrade/repair the Welcome to Hanksville signs. C. Eric Wells will be in charge of the project.

All Wells Drilling, LLC has submitted an application for a new sewer connection
